ZeGen Energy leads the Aquarius North Sea Geothermal Consortium in completing a geothermal assessment project for a major oil and gas operator that fully integrates subsurface, wells and topsides elements. The project was framed in early 2021 and completed in June this year and is believed to be the first of its kind globally.

ZeGen Energy announces the completion of phase one of a pre-feasibility study evaluating geothermal opportunities at the Balmoral Estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The full project is co-funded by the Balmoral Estate and the Net Zero Technology Centre and seeks to evaluate the geothermal potential and benefits to the estate.
